My artistic questioning of a place, a scenic expanse occurs with deep affection and curiosity. The vivid colours of southern England and the unique, special light there by day and night played a great role in creating my horizon pictures.

The horizon line, which can be seen absolutely, exists and can be felt. It should be understood as a symbol for achieving true longings. In these works, I aim to let eternity, infinity, a journey into the unknown, the boundary between heaven and sea, between reality and vision take centre stage.

Alsoo, it is important to me to convey emotions as in all my creative work. Unhappiness, loneliness, freedom, life, love and ecstasy - the appeal lies in the polarity of emotions, which the pictures convey.
